I'm going with 'shopping' because alternative thoughts just don't wash.
Hang Gliding or sky diving. Don't know what that has to do with "coathanger"...but all we could think of with your clue was unclogging a toilet... which wouldn't be all that cool...would it... except we get pretty excited about it because we don't have to call a man to come unclogg it for us. You could have been being facitious and in that case you are taking them clothes shopping, as already suggested,..men love to do that...don't they. At any rate, thank you Mal for driving us mad. Now all we will think of all day is...coat hanger?...coat hanger?....coat hanger?

The only thing that I can think of with a coathange would be trying to get your keys that you locked in out of your car.....
Somehow I don't think a man would call shoping cool.....
