There is a little bit of Indiana in all of us

Finally after five years in the Middle East, I made it too Petra , one of the great wonders of the world, having seen the Pyramids of Giza, Taj Mahal , Khyber Pass to name just a few sights. I was truly blown away by Petra which was the first nominated place in the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Will post a more detailed blog about travels with Greta and the First lady, but as they say pictures sometimes say more than words so here here is four thousand words.

Mal...I bet it was well worth the wait and wonder how much exploring you did in the rock city? Would love to see all of your photos and hope you post many more of them. Noticed you shaved up good to accompany Greta and the First Lady which I am guessing was not nearly as interesting or exciting as the rock city, an adventurers paradise. Please give us more! That is you in the photos...isn't it? The only identifying mark we could see was the camera strapped over your shoulders. Looking forward to more posts since you go where we only wish we could. Living near Sedona, Arizona we love the red rock but it looks like you found the mother of all red rock. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing the pictures Mal, they are breathtaking. I'm sure it was even more beautiful being there!
