Another moment of terror from the recent Iraq trip was when we were setting up to record a link for War Stories and suddenly the crack of a sniper rifle came past us, followed by another a minute later. Needless to say we did not hang around and even luckier we had already got a couple of takes in the camera.

A serious question, Mal....Do you worry about sniper shots in Israel? Like when you are running or just out walking on the streets? Is it only when you cross into the Gaza Strip or the West Bank that you worry about kidnapping? Just wondered if life is anywhere normal where you live? Just in case you invite us over for bananas and dates we'll know to accept or not. :);) The rip off landlord seems normal enough. Your intrigued readers. Stay safer.
